So, I have this thing I like do to do in my spare time…it’s called – planning meals. Yeah, okay. Stop your laughing. Some people knit. Some people sew. Some people play sports. I read cookbooks and dream up meal plans. I’m a wild and crazy girl.
You already know how much I love Plan to Eat. But what you don’t know is that planning meals is one of the highlights of my week. I also enjoy making beds, ironing clothes, and de-boogering my children. Gosh…I AM a weirdo.
But something I’ve learned is that not everyone enjoys de-boogering their children with a Nose Frida – and not everyone enjoys making their bed daily – and some people don’t even own an iron (THE HORROR!). And the most crazy thing of all is….some of you hate making meal plans! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Cue the freaky scary movie music! What is wrong with you people!?
So, I thought I would do this thing for you and make 100 days of meal plans, all for you. 🙂 Because I love you – and because someone should benefit from my crazy weirdness. Using this list, you should be able to repeat each meal 3 times in a year…or find some you really like and repeat them a lot. Because I figure most people probably eat away from home 65 times a year – for holidays, church functions, or because you need to get your Chick-Fil-A on.
I’ve labeled it “Whole Foods Style,” kinda like my 100 Days of Crock Pot Meals. But, like my book, Crock On, maybe I should say “semi-whole foods.” Because if I don’t I’ll start getting more nasty comments and emails about how I’m a wolf in sheep’s clothing because CANNED TOMATOES AND KETCHUP ARE NOT WHOLE FOODS! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Fall down and foam at the mouth.
So, let me be clear (hahahahaha! That’s a joke between me and my husband.), if you don’t want to use canned tomatoes or ketchup…don’t. Shocking. 😉 Just use your homemade canned tomatoes and make homemade ketchup – that’s totally cool. In my mind, whole foods means things that aren’t overly processed – like stuffing mix, canned cream-of soup mix or Velveeta.
Now, a word about lunch…I almost always plan enough for our dinner that I have leftover the next day for lunch. So, if that’s you too, you might need to alter these recipes for serving size. I didn’t pick all 4 serving sized recipes – or 8 serving size recipes…because I always alter those to fit what I need. I like making a big dinner and packing Barry’s lunch immediately so it’s ready for the next day. Then the following day, I don’t freak out at lunch time because I already know what the kids and I are having. So – take the serving sizes into account when you check these out.
If we don’t have leftovers, we eat sandwiches and tortilla chips with fruit. 🙂
Let’s just take care of some questions already – no, I don’t have a grocery list for this. Boom. Yes, I knew you were going to ask. 😉 I almost always cook from my pantry – and I have no idea what’s in your pantry (every time I try to type pantry, it comes out panty…just thought you might want to know). I buy meats in bulk – actually I buy almost everything in bulk. But chances are, you don’t. So I don’t know what you need for dinner. 🙂 And plus, a grocery list for 100 days might take up 15 pages of paper and then I would get hate emails about hating trees and the environment. Ha!
I’ve included a “Prep” category for you because I always prep the day before for the next day. That has just become something I do to make the next day easier. This list might be a bit heavy on the crock pot meals for you, but that’s because I use my crock a lot. A. Lot. You can totally skip the Prep category if you want.
And breakfast – I always make breakfast in advance. But like some of you weirdos who won’t make your bed daily, you might not eat breakfast. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!? So, I will include a nice list of 30 breakfast options for you to rotate as needed. 🙂 How’s that?
Now, behold! Your 100 days of meal plans. Also, if you want it, you can click here and get it in a printable format for your convenience. 😉

I am soooooo thankful for this post. I have medical issues that are forcing me to go gluten free. I am the only one in a household if ten. There is no way I have time to make two meals three times a day. These recipes are easy to adapt when necessary and such a joy because of the variety. Also, many sites are pricey and I am so grateful you have used your gifts to bless others. Thank you!
Stacy says
I am so so glad it was helpful to you!!!
Robin Calhoun says
THANKS!!!! I have been trying to make changes to help my family become healthier. It was allll so overwhelming! That is, until I found your recipes. I am so excited to try a few this week! I also do not usually read the blog but scroll down until I find what I need. I LOVE reading your stuff!
I did want to say that the links for #’s 51, 87, and 91 do not work.
Julie Chittock says
Thanks so much for your sweet comment! And I’m so glad you shared about those non-working links. This post is a few years old so I definitely will go back and update those.

The Day 13 Bacon meatball stroganoff is no longer leading to the correct recipe. Thanks. I am enjoying cooking through the days and it has helped me save time and money.
Julie Chittock says
Thanks for letting us know – I’ll try to find the new link.

Just stumbled over this. I NEVER read the blog parts. Just go straight to the “download here” portion. LMAO I’m glad I read this! The dripping sarcasm to those who must insert their unwanted negative opinions to your flaws in YOUR blog. ❤️? we might just be twinsies! ??
I know this post is a couple years old (always late to the party ?♀️) but excited to look at all the recipes! Especially the breakfast. Don’t make my bed daily and I don’t eat breakfast! ???
Julie Chittock says
Aww Rita! Thanks for commenting 🙂 Really hope you enjoy the recipes!

Nicki says
You are an absolute lifesaver! I have searched years for a meal plan that works for my family. They have either been too fancy, too expensive, or too complicated. I even tried to come up with my own recipe bank and meal plan that way but it was too time consuming…I needed something fast, affordable and easy. This has been all that…and more. I set 5 recipes per week (leaving 2 nights for leftovers or takeout), copy the recipes, make the shopping list (and put them all in a sheet protector so I can mark out my list with a water marker so it’s reusable) and BAM…I’m finished.
These recipes are so easy to make, with such few ingredients. My shopping trips went from $120-$150 per week for a family of 4 to (I kid you not!) $70-$80 per week.
And OMG they are delicious!!
We are on recipe #21 and have yet to dislike anything (and we were hesitant on the German meatloaf, but it was a bigger hit than my meatloaf). Normally we go about 3-4 days into a meal plan before we have to start replacing and deleting meals because they weren’t good. This meant I was back to square one.
My hope was to be able to find a meal plan, have the recipes and shopping list available, and reusable so when the month (or in this case almost 6 months) was up I could just flip back and start from the beginning with all the prep work done. Now I can. Amazing!!! Thank you so so so much.
Stacy says
Nicki, thank you so much for your feedback! I GREATLY appreciate it! 🙂
Rita says
Day 11 and 13 links are messed up. 11’s doesn’t go anywhere and 13 goes to a Sirloin Beef Stroganoff….not meatball….unless that’s the same thing?
Stacy says
Hi Rita! Thanks for letting me know. As I made this list a couple years ago, some blogs have stopped working. As that happens, I have to update recipes, which is what has happened to the Stroganoff recipe. I’ll update 11. Thank you for letting me know! 🙂
Rita says
I’ve made meals #1,2,3,5 so far and have gotten thumbs up from my hubby and the kids who are 5 & 7!! The meals are easy to prepare too which is the biggest plus for me!! My hubs said, “yummm this actually has flavor” on all of the meals. Which is something because he likes flavor and the kids don’t like anything spicy. So, somehow, you’ve been able to satisfy both in the recipes I’ve tried! Thanks so much for sharing!! I’m forever grateful!!! My daughter has celiac too and I have been able to easily substitute gluten free ingredients where needed. I’m looking forward to trying more. We have a Menu chalkboard (from Hobby Lobby) the kids love taking turns writing what’s for dinner the next couple of days and your meal plans make it so easy to just plop one on there without thinking!
Stacy says
Rita, that makes me SO, SO happy!!! My face is just grinning like a possum!
Karin says
Thank you so much! Although I’ve been meal planning for over 24 years, I needed inspiration. Seems life is even busier w/ 5 teens than when they were toddlers! Vacuuming, making charts & check marks on to-do lists 🙂 are MY favorites! Just LOVE your humor!
Stacy says
Thank you, Karin! I’m glad it’s helpful. 🙂
Rachel says

What is the difference between ‘hamburger’ and ground/mince beef? Writing from the UK

Can you email the list? I’m having trouble printing from the site (actually when I click the link it won’t even load).
Stacy says
Here is the direct link…because it’s a large file, it can take a minute to load. You might have something on your computer preventing pop ups: http://www.humoroushomemaking.com/freecontent/100-Days-of-Meal-Plans-StacyMakesCents.pdf

Can I buy this as a book or cookbook? I have a tablet and cannot print off of it.

Awesome! Found you via Pinterest! I LOVE your humor!! Thank you for not making me feel like I should be thrown into a flaming lake of fire for letting my kids eat KETCHUP from a STORE!! Seriously, if they couldn’t put ketchup on it they wouldn’t be eating.
Stacy says
Hey…ketchup is a vegetable! 🙂
Kelley says
LOVE your writing; I can totally relate, as I am also a weirdo who loves prepping (helloooo freezer meals)! But I have been struggling sitting down with our meal plan since…forever, so THANK YOU!! And thanks for making it fun to read as well!
Stacy says
I’m super glad you’ve found it helpful! 🙂
Katie says
Have you made all of these meals? As I work through them I see that a good number are links to other websites and I’m just curious if you’ve made them and think they’re good. 🙂
Stacy says
No, I have not made all of them…but I have made some of them. 🙂 I tried to pick resources that I trust so I know the recipes are good.
Jessica says
I am blown away by this list! It is an answer to my prayers! I’m one of those weirdos who doesn’t like to plan meals. Ok, I don’t MIND it… but I stress myself out and it takes me forever… Enter your list and the angels singing in the background! Thank you for all the work you’ve put into it! I also love your strategy for lunches! I’ve struggled on that topic too! Solved! Thank you for your dedication to educate all us weirdos! <3
Stacy says
I consider myself the biggest weirdo of all! 🙂
Tiffany Lester says
Just wanted to take the time to say hi and give a big hug for all the work you’ve put into making other people’s lives just a bit easier (and more interesting!) As for haters: 1) They’ll never be happy. You could call it Real food, and they’d argue all food is real. ? 2) If you type up a 15 page printable, they’re the one being ridiculous about the environment because *gasp* you don’t HAVE to print them anymore! I have HUNDREDS of pdf documents that I refer to on a regular basis from recipes (food and myo household goods), checklists, chore charts, etc… Not a single piece of paper used. 😉
Stacy says
I love paper. 🙂 I’m old school. Thanks for the nice comment, Tiffany. I appreciate it.
Tanja says
This is a wonderful resource. Thank you for the work you’ve put into this.
I’m not sure if it’s just not working for me but the link to print the list doesn’t seems to be working. A 404 error comes up.
Regardless, I have the page open as a tab on my laptop and I don’t think I’ll be closing it anytime soon 🙂
Stacy says
Hmmmmm. I’m not sure why it doesn’t seem to be working for you. I’ve pulled it up without an error code. Try the direct link to see if that works for you. 🙂

That worked! Thank you so much.

Fabulous!
Elspeth says
Thanks so much for this list!
Stacy says
You’re very welcome!
Cari Duffy says
Stacy, you are an angel! I am one of those crazy mama’s who cannot stand meal plans and find the hours ticking ominously toward dinner to be very stressful…. you, darling, have just saved me countless hours of anxiety!! I do not know you but my heart is full of love and admiration for your willingness to share this treasure!
Stacy says
🙂 Well, I’m glad to cut that part out for you. Now, go forth and cook, my lady! Ha ha!
Barb Schmidt says
Any chance you can make the recipes linkable in the PDF? Thank you for such an awesome freebie! I also have a Kindle copy of Crock On!
Stacy says
Yes, it is. We had it that way, but we fixed something and it got messed up. It’s there again now. 🙂
KC says
I LOVE your Prep bit!!!! I ALWAYS run around like a chicken because I forget to prep or thaw or am missing something vital!!!! Opening, trimming (my hubby doesn’t like cheese…..I KNOW!) and printing, thank you for taking the crazy out of dinner…..at least until I lose my list and forget I had it!
Stacy says
I’m sorry. I didn’t hear anything except YOUR HUSBAND DOESN’T LIKE CHEESE. Gasp!
Karen says
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I like meal planning, but not as much as you, and I haven’t made time to do it lately. As a result, we haven’t been eating very well. By the way, because of you, I now have an assortment of crock pots in different sizes!
Stacy says
Everyone should have assorted crock pots. 🙂
Carolin says
What a great site! Thanks for all the hard work!! The link you have for the Lemon Cranberry Scones goes to Peanutbutter and banana pancakes. I would love the scone recipe!
Stacy says
Oops – I fixed it.
Tara says
Thank you for this!! Question: I purchased your Crock On ebook a while back. I always forget to use it for new recipes, ugh!! I also use Plan To Eat. Is there an easy way to transfer your recipes from the book to my PTE recipes, or do I have to do it manually? Thanks so much!
Stacy says
You will have to do it manually – the reason I don’t have it over there is because anyone who follows you can see those recipes…so it would be like giving the world my cookbook for free. 🙂 If you wouldn’t mind, when you add them could you please make them private?
Tara says
Absolutely! I don’t have any followers that I know of lol, but I will make them private just in case. Thanks!
Stacy says

You’re the bomb! Or maybe I should say, “you da bomb!”! 😉 Seriously, this is awesome! Thank you!

Better than dropping a bomb, I guess. 😉

Hi Stacy, thanks so much for your menu plan. I had been thinking that I needed to simplify my meal planning and your lIst looks great. I love reading cookbooks too but I spend so much time deciding what to cook! I noticed when I was putting together my grocery list that the sausage beans and kale link on day five seems to be broken.
Stacy says
Yes – sorry about that. I fixed it.
Kristen says
Thanks so much. Have kale in the garden now that needs to be used for something before the caterpillars eat it all. (Am in new Zealand so it’s summer here! Hence the caterpillars!)
Jogirl says
your sausage bean and kale recipe doesn’t appear when I click on the link…could you help with this?
Stacy says
It’s fixed.

I’m now determined to cook for 100 days straight! I’ve printed the menu and now I’m adding recipes. The Sausge Bean and Kale link on Day 5 isn’t working. I tried a search on your site but that didn’t help either – you have a very extensive site with the words “sausage” “bean” and “kale” being used quite a lot. Can you link the recipe?? Thank you!!
Stacy says
I fixed it.

Thank you, thank you and thank you! This is a great resource for meals. I love to cook and plan meals too, however I appreciate using someone else’s plan even more. If you know what I mean. You rock!!
Stacy says
It’s just so fulfilling, isn’t it?

Stacy, you are an answer to my prayers! I’m a 53 year old mom of two grown sons and I have 4 grandkids. I work full time and enjoy family time and Jazzercise. I’m somewhat fit and healthy-ish. Last October I thought I had the stomach flu but it turned out my pancreas was throwing a temper tantrum. Short story….I’ve had several visits with a nutritionist who got me back on track by changing my eating habits to give my digestive system a rest. I knew “whole foods” way of eating was in my future for continuing better health, but I’ve felt lost on how to begin. Your list is the jump start (aka answered prayer) for me to continue to eat healthy. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!! Kathy D.
Stacy says
Well, I love how God works. 🙂

I am not in the ‘love to cook’ camp. 🙁 It is over whelming to me. Like, I just don’t like it! And the time I take to list out, shop, chop, cook then my picky family doesn’t like it. :(!! Thanks for this list with links and I hope to try something out and add it in to our boring meal rotation.
Stacy says
If I can help with anything else in that area, please holler. 🙂
Jess says

Stacy you crack me up! Printing the meal plan right now and looking forward to using it! I get so burned out cooking the same thing over and over so this will be a good way to try some new things! Thank you for taking the time to do this! And by the way ironing is one of my favorite things to do! 🙂 Melissa
