**I know I normally post a crock pot recipe on Friday, but my scheduled poster and friend, Rachel, had a recent tragedy and was unable to be with us. I would ask that you say a special prayer for her today. Thanks.**
Last year I had the honor of making a new friend – LeighAnn from Intentional by Grace. She has blessed me in thousands of ways. I know without a shadow of a doubt God matched us up as friends – we’re so alike, but so different. She keeps me in check. She tells me when I’m being dumb…and I’m dumb a lot.
She invited my family to come spend the weekend with her family and we had a fabulous time! She’s exactly the same in person as she is online. And then she went and did something crazy. She moved to Colorado. But that’s okay – I still love her…and I also love her new book!
I’m going through a time in life where meal times are crazy. I used to be a meal planning fanatic, but after we sold the townhouse, moved in with mom, and bought a new house to remodel, things haven’t gone very smoothly. Sometimes I freak out at 5pm when I realize I forgot that dinner was coming. Uhhh, oops?
Enter 20 Minute Meals. LeighAnn has created a cookbook for the weary chef…the mother who is busy…the wife who works…the pregnant woman who loses her mind and forgets that she needs to feed her family dinner every night.
And guess what? They’re whole foods recipes! You won’t find any canned soups or convenience foods in here. Just good, honest food…and it’s ready in 20 minutes. It’s a miracle I tell ya!
You’ll find 28 dinner recipes, a monthly meal plan, a grocery list, lists for organization, printables, and links for make-it-yourself foods.
This book is in PDF format so you can read it on your computer or print it out. At only $4.99, it’s a steal!
And like always, you should know…I am 100% honest. I would never tell you to buy this book if I didn’t use it myself and think it was awesome.
Download your copy of 20 Minute Meals for just $4.99.
Also, Humorous Homemaking readers get a special 20% off if you order NOW! But no pressure. 😉 Use code SMC20 when checking out. Code good through midnight, June 9th.
**I am affiliate for this book. All opinions are mine…and just ask Barry – I’m very opinionated.**

Hi! Found your blog via pinterest and I am excited to try out the crock pot chicken fajitas! I am interested in the 20 min cookbook, however, I am curious what some of the meals are? I tried looking at the site and couldn’t find anything. I just spent money on another meal plan and not thrilled with the meal options…things we would never eat! So would you please give me a sample of what the meals are? Thanks so much!
Susie, it’s a great book! I love it! 🙂 If you watch the little video clip, she shows just about every recipe there. If you still want a list after watching that, holler back and I’ll get it for you. 🙂
I bought this ebook a few months back and I can vouch for it. The meals are legitimately quick and simple (especially after you’ve made them a time or two), they’re tasty, and they use real ingredients for the most part (you can choose if you want to make your own condiments and all that stuff – she gives links if you want to). A few of them have made it into my regular rotation. Not every single meal appealed to my family but that always happens – however, this ebook had a good ratio of those that did appeal. Worth the $5- and I never pay, I always lend from the library! 🙂
I know! I love mine too. 🙂
This book looks great! I am trying to change the way I cook, less process more whole foods. It’s so easy to just go to the freezer & pull out the frozen pizza when in a pinch to get a meal on the table. Thanks for sharing this e-book with us.
Prayers going up for Rachel & her family tonight.
Thank you, Jenny. And yes, I agree about the book. I am very thankful to have this book – I know I’ll use it a TON after The Bean is born. 🙂
Stacy, I’m so glad you had a WONDERFUL post today in place of my scheduled (never finished) crockpot post, a great book by Leigh Ann, I know your readers will love! Thank you for asking for prayers for me today, I feel blessed you are my friend!
I am blessed by you too, my friend. 🙂
This sounds like a great book.
It is…I’m really enjoying it!
Are these recipes fairly simple? I have often found that quick & easy recipes don’t always call for simple ingredients & I find myself at the store buying items that I normally wouldn’t for only 1 recipe. So I’m a little leery. =]
Shawna, I know what you mean. 🙂 All of these recipes call for things I keep in my pantry (minus meat and fresh veggies/fruit) except: bulgar, coconut milk, nutritional yeast, feta cheese. And those are only in a few recipes. Hope that helps!
What a great book!! 🙂
I know, right?!
p.s. my daughter is ROCKING OUT to the song on that video … “again, again!!”
LOL Annie says the same thing!! “Let me listen to Daddy’s song again!”
are you reading my mind?! this is EXACTLY what i need!!!
and i’m praying for rachel and her family too!
Thanks for the prayers. 🙂
Stacy I am enjoying your blog so much. I heard about you from some quilt guild friends a couple of months ago and I look forward to each day’s post. I have said a prayer for Rachel.
Thank you. I know she is soaking up all her prayers today.
Hi Stacy! Praying for Rachel. Thank you for being the caring person you are to take time to mention this! And thank you and Leigh Ann for the giveaway of her new book! Blessings from Bama!
Thanks Bama! 🙂
Thank you, dear friend. Just thank you!
Girl, you’re the one who wrote the miracle cookbook! Thank YOU.
Prayer sent on behalf of rachel today and will continue to do so as God places her back on my heart in the up coming days.
Thank you very much. 🙂
