This book has been in the works for a long time – I’ve been working on it for almost an entire year. With the move to our new house and the birth of Andrew it sorta took a back seat from time to time. But it’s finally here! Crock On! A Semi-Whole Foods Slow Cooker Cookbook is now available for you to buy! I am so excited!!!
My goal with this cookbook was to bring you guys some recipes that were whole-foods friendly…recipes that didn’t include things like Italian Dressing Mix or Cream of Chicken Soup. These are all recipes using REAL food. There’s not a single cream-of soup in here.
There aren’t any hard-to-find ingredients either. I’m not into that stuff. Just good, honest food.

Only $8.00!

Why did I call it a “semi-whole foods” cookbook? Well, because I did include a few things that maybe a hard core real foodie wouldn’t eat…like hominy, soy sauce, and *cough* white rice. So, to save myself some time answering comments about why exactly my food isn’t “whole” I thought I would cut it off at the pass. 🙂
As always, my goal is to feed my family well – and for me that means making food from scratch…it doesn’t mean we eat 100% organic, it just means we try to avoid additives. Amen and Amen.

Only $8.00!

So, what will you find in this eBook? I’ll tell you – 40 BRAND NEW and unpublished slow cooker recipes. I have not posted these recipes anywhere else. I wanted to make sure you were getting your $8 worth. 😉 You’ll find recipes like:
- Broccoli Soup
- Swiss Steak
- Fruit Cobbler
- Pulled Beef Barbecue
- White Beans and Ham
- Cheeseburger Pie
- Creamy Cheesy Corn
- And lots more!

Only $8.00!

Almost every recipe includes a review from a fellow blogger – I wanted my recipes tested before I just flung them out into cyberspace – if you love something set it free! Or something like that…..
You’ll also find little notes that I’ve included – and each recipe is accompanied by a photo. I like cooking food when it has a photo to go along with it…I’m weird like that.
I wanted to bring you a cookbook that was full of good, wholesome food for your family…and I feel like I’ve done that. This is my cookbook baby…and I hope you enjoy it. Click the image below to see what a recipe in the cookbook looks like and get a free bonus recipe (print-ready) from the cookbook…just because I love ya. 🙂
Please note, this is an eBook – not a hard copy book. See FAQs.
Crock on ladies, crock on.
The first 25 buyers will receive Crock On! for only $2.50!!!! GONE!

“There aren’t any weird ingredients either. I’m not into weird stuff. If I can’t pronounce it, I don’t want to eat it. No mussels, saffron, or plantains in here…just good, honest food.”
this line that you posted above is extremely offensive. i understand if you aren’t into these ingredients/foods, but to state that they’re weird, to state that they’re anything other than “good/honest food” is a completely ridiculous statement and alludes to those who eat them or who have a cultural connection with them to be “weird” as well. i will not be part of your site or promoting your products…..
I did not mean any offense, whatsoever. I was simply stating that those were ingredients that were hard to find in this area. I have re-stated the sentence and ask for forgiveness in the offense that I caused you.
thank you Stacey…much appreciated!!!!! i’m back on your site cuz i love ur stuff….
I’m glad to hear that. 🙂 Glad we could work things out.
Add several cups of chopped Kale or other greens for a nutritious, complete meal.
We love kale!
Hi!
Love this idea!! I have to cook gluten free for me and my family. Are these gf friendly to wear i can substitute easily? Thoughts?
Thank you for helping so many mothers!!
I had a gluten free friend to dinner and served these – she just didn’t use the flour tortillas. 🙂
Yam!! i’m like soo behind time, been wanting to buy a slow cooker and I’m so confused on which one to buy I have tried to read online best this that I think when i’m done i’m dizzy. Recommendations please 🙂
Congrats!!
I have the nesting set by Hamilton Beach and I really like it! That way you get 3 sizes in one. 🙂
Happy New Year to you and your family.
I wanted to get the crock cookbook. I was trying to put in the code gnow15 for the discount but it comes up that it has expired. According to the gnowfglins website the discount is good thru today. Can you please help. Thanks.
I’m so sorry it’s misbehaving – I’m not sure what the problem is because I know the code has been used today. I went in and fiddled with some things, so hopefully it works now. 🙂 If it doesn’t work, please holler back and let me know. We’ll figure it out! 🙂
I would love to be able to come home to a nicely-cooked dinner that’s already done, but I’m having trouble finding a crock pot that I like. I have the Hamilton Beach white one with the three nesting bowls, and everything I put in it comes out tough! I think it runs too hot. I follow recipes as closely as I can, and I’ve tried cutting back on the cook time (which seems to me to negate the whole idea, since I’m out and about worrying that I need to dash home and turn off the slow cooker…), but the food never seems to come out well. Help??
Alice, I’m not sure. That’s the set that I have and it does great. It’s what I use the most. If nothing you’re trying to make comes out right, I would think maybe it was a dud set?
Hi there, I’m from Australia and have used a few of your crock pot recipes and love them. I have a few questions though:
1) I have a Mac, if I download this ebook, will it work on Mac software??
2) With the sausage recipe above, is it actual sausages cut up, or is it sausage mince?
Thanks, love your site 🙂
Hi there in Australia! 🙂
1. It is a .pdf file, allowing it to be read on any Windows or Apple product.
2. It’s minced sausage – or ground sausage. 🙂 Enjoy!
Just purchased the book! I can’t wait to try some of the recipes. I like crock pot cooking, but all the recipes I seem to find call for “cream of” something soups and I get so sick of that. They all taste the same to me. I’m excited to know your recipes use “normal” foods, not wierd stuff that I can’t get at my local grocery store. (:
Dude, I know what you’re talking about. I hate those recipes. I hope you enjoy it!
not sure why my comment wasn’t posted but i’ll try again. the use of your wording above is highly inappropriate and disrespectful of those cultures that do use such ingredients and are associated with their backgrounds. simply because you don’t know how to use them doesn’t mean they aren’t normal or fabulous ingredients/foods. it is your choice not to use them or particularly like them, but to use wording that almost demonizes them is extremely ignorant. i will remove my subscribtion and have instructed friends to do the same.
I am sorry to hear that. I simply meant that they were not “weird” ingredients for where I live – my readers wanted easy to find ingredients.
Honey, you are the Diva of the Slow Cooker. This cookbook is GREAT! I think the first one I try will be the Cheeseburger Sloppy Joes. Thank you for doing this.
That’s a good one! Love it! 🙂 Hope you do too. Thanks, Sandy!
Can’t wait to get the new book. I love every crock recipe of yours, that I have created…
🙂 I’m glad! Crock on, Jonni. Crock on.
This cookbook ROCKS! Stacy you are amazing!!!
Crock Star!!!! 🙂 Thanks Nik!
Stacy, Is there anyway to buy your cook book without a debit/credit card or paypal?
Shawna, since it’s an eBook we chose to use Paypal to make things easier. That’s how ejunkie works to sell eBooks.
I already have your Carolina BBQ Chicken in the crock, and it smells SO good! Thank you for all the time you put into this, I was excited to get it first thing this morning! LOVE my crockpot, and wanted some fresh ideas. Thank you, Stacy! 🙂
🙂 Yummy! That’s a good one. 🙂 I hope you enjoy it!!
I am going to try the recipe above. Seems pretty frugal too. What if my family is afraid of chile powder and green chiles? Any recommendations of something I could switch up those items with? Or just stick to the sausage, potatoes, sour cream, and cheese?
Yep! I’d just leave them out – it will still be awesome. 🙂
Can I just say I am tickled pink to try your recipes?!
🙂 Thanks, Leslie!
